New York Fashion Week Day 1 Thursday Feb 9, 2012

So this year I was blessed with an amazing Pr rep, by the name of Janelle Langford with Urban Suite Pr!

…HEY LIST OF SHOWS!

 She worked very hard into getting me into shows, for this fashion week fall 2012! Even though we stated a little late we managed to sit front row and get you, my fans, exclusive videos and first looks info this upcoming seasonal trends!

After sitting front row at this show I was so ready to hit the next show which was luckily at the lincoln center area, right across the walk way from the main stage!

Next show: Houghton Fall Winter 2012

After that I had to grab a coffee, and meet the head of my fan page to pick up my biz cards! (Thanks Miss. Natasha!) After that we had on the schedule a presentation for Leila Shams! It was at a nice boutique in the Empire Hotel right across from the main action!

We have an interview with the designer stay tuned!

This year I could tell budgets where a a lot lower there where more presentation than actually shows, but hey this one had an open bar!!

So after leaving the presentation I ran into a few friends out working and enjoying fashion week as well !

Jerome Lamaar, GIVING FASHION! As you can see this is the week where people are super creative and have a blast with fashion. For those that dont know this is the former designer for Baby Phat, in the good days! Now he is currently creating his own line we will keep you in loop!

Even though it was good reconnecting with friends, we were on a tight schedule, Next we headed down to Alvin and Ailey studio in midtown, where they where hosting Nolcha Fashion week, which is like its own little fashion week were they have many shows every day during the reg, Mercedes Benz events! February 9, Nolcha hosted their 11th Season of Nolcha Fashion Week : New York at The Ailey Studios, just blocks from Lincoln Center on West 55th Street.  The day-long event featured 4 runway shows including two group shows at 12:30 and  3:30, and two solo shows at 6:30 and 9pm, respectively. Going on its sixth consecutive year, and held simultaneously with Mercedes-Benz Fashion week, Nolcha is one of New York’s leading platforms for independent fashion designers.   The brands who presented yesterday were global in scope including designers based out of Turkey, Greece, Puerto Rico, United Kingdom, The Philippines, Italy, and the United States.

This show was a great show, I even ran into Adrienne Bailon , I was in one of her first 3LW videos ! Check out how sexy she is on the red carpet!
